Abraham Mar Thoma Memorial Bible Institute

The central organization has been responsible for running the Abraham Mar Thoma Memorial Bible Institute at Kompady, Thiruvalla that gives training for laypersons in personal evangelism. There are courses of different durations, which were originally started by Abraham Mar Thoma himself, before these were organized on the present level. Long term and short term courses are held in A.M.M. Bible Institute. Proper thrust is given to the Holy Bible, Theology, Church History, Other Religions, Evangelism, Preaching etc. Trainees devote themselves to full - time or part-time missionary work.

Every year A.M.M. lecturers are held in different centres. A.M.M. Convention is held in A.M.M. Bible Institute in the month of November every year, in connection with the birthday of the Most Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Thoma. Every month, on the 3rd Wednesday prayer meeting is held in A.M.M. Bible Institute. Many people from different parishes make use of this blessed time to witness Jesus Christ. ‘Suvisesha Nilayam’ facilitates lay people to stay in the Bible Institute for study and meditation.

One year and six months courses begin in the month of June. Summer classes in the month of April-May (15days duration). Day time Bible classes in November - December One year course fee Rs.15,000/-(including food. Both gents and ladies can attend the summer class and November- December month course.

Camp-Research-Meditation Center

The General body meeting of the Associaton decided to develop the present camp site to a mega project as Camp & Research Centre. Though Mar Thoma Church doesn’t have any such project in Central Travencore Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelists’ Association hope that it will be an asset for Mar Thoma Church and the Society.

The camp-research-meditation center at Thiruvalla is now available for all the believers. This place can be used for Episcopal Churches and Ecumenical programs.
